Villa Emerald with swimming pool in Lindos

Everything about this holiday from start to finish was outstanding. The villa is just beautiful and waking up to that view every morning was amazing. It was so calm and peaceful but only a short drive from Lindos where we ate out most nights. Such a great base to explore the island and the host Christos was so helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

All was perfect: the location, the view, the Villa, the pool, Christos as manager! We lacked nothing.

The most beautiful location. Very quiet. Stunning views. The villa is equipped with everything you could want. Cot and a high chair provided. Washing machine, dishwasher and air con. There was fruit and wine in the fridge in our arrival.

There was only 5 chairs on the patio. There was nothing we disliked

Location and a magical view The house is clean and very comfortable. The children loved the swimming pool. Close to beach restaurants and shops.

We loved the pool being lit up in the evenings but we would enjoyed a better sleep if they weren't shining into bedrooms all-night long...ie some way of being able to turn them off.

Poorly equipped, broken corkscrew. No essentials left I.e. dishwasher tablets, cleaning products. So if you arrive late by plane a bit of a problem. We had to do a big shop late at night, when we were tired from travelling.

We loved our stay at Villa Emerald. Usually don't book places with only a few reviews but we searched the property on other sites and found a lot of positive feedback, and luckily it was all accurate! View was incredible, villa felt very modern and had everything we needed, all three bedrooms en suite, Manos was always available if we had questions. The pool was great, you can even do little ten stroke lengths in it, tiny bit cold but it was so hot out even mid-September it was the perfect temperature to cool off in. Great beach five mins down the hill and a couple of good restaurants too if you don't want to get in the car to go to Lindos (5 minutes) or further afield. The outdoor space was brilliant, we spent most of our time just lounging around on the sunbeds/sofa/at the table!

There is some noise from other hotels etc in the area but you can't hear it once you're in bed - we quite enjoyed hearing ABBA floating up the hill in the evenings when we were sitting outside but if you want total peace and quiet you might not feel the same!
