"Charming and comfortable with a great outlook."

This property exceeded our expectations. It was so well appointed, and beautiful with a fantastic outlook across the district. It was so charming and set up well for an extremely comfortable stay. While attached to the main house it was very private. Great choice!

This is the type of place we love; small, quiet, and historically charming. It had all you need including a big comfy bed, a spacious living area and kitchen and a nice bathroom with a great shower.

Beautiful cottage. With a rich history. Loved the posters explaining its stories. Great location - and close to town walking, as long as you’re fit and mobile. Loved having the courtyard to lie in the sun, or sit and have an aperitif. Very quiet. Well-appointed kitchen, with everything we needed. The wine and chocolates were a lovely touch.

"Quaint and cosy."

Everything! It was quaint, clean, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with a full stove/oven, and there were laundry facilities, too. The main town was walking distance and the views were fantastic. We loved it!

Everything. Beautiful period property with all modern facilities of a very high standard. High thread count bed linen,Sheridan towels.Llarge comfortable bed. Comfy leather sofa. Fine wine glasses..Lovely shower.Free Netflix. Really homely. Quiet neighborhood. Easy free parking.Short cut for walking into centre of Napier. Lovely host left a list of great recommendations and also met us on arrival and departure and offered for us to knock next door at her property any time if we needed anything. Our best stay so far in NZ.

If I had to find fault it would be that the dinner plates were too large for the dishwasher.

"Stay in a bit of history"

The cottage has a lot of space and is very well supplied with everything you would need to self cater if you want. The bedding and furnishings are lovely, everything is spotless and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. There is a courtyard for the cottage guests to use with bistro set and loungers. The house sits at the top of the hill, what a view. There is a staircase of around 70 steps to take you down to the main street. It is quite steep however an Uber brought us back up when needed.
