Rest Pause Rainforest Retreat

Quiet place to stay and gather with a group of friends. Helpful caretakers and friendly hosts to communicate with. The breakfast was surprising as we thought it could be just a packet of nasi lemak. But ended up it was prepare freshly by the caretaker early in the morning.

There's a lot of insects during night time as it was surrounded by trees and mountain. Is totally understandable. They did provide some mosquito repellent etc and it helps to reduce it. The minus points is there's no aircon at the living room area. When we arrive the weather was abit sunny and not cooling, only night time the weather turns cooling.

We like the serenity of the property. Can hear the river water flowing and the cool weather. Super attentive yhost. Good water filter dispenser and complimentary snacks are provided. The caretaker of the place is friendly. Breakfast was served early in the morning at veranda facing beautiful view of the greeneries. Back to nature, so calm.

The slope driving down to the property is steep, although it is safe. But it is almost the same for other properties at surrounding area.

Very responsive hosts and having the friendly caretakers on site was very helpful. The house was well appointed with facilities and comfortable beds. Cleanliness was also very good, and the caretakers completed their tasks as notified such as setting up the BBQ and for serving breakfast. Overall, a great retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city in a calm, serene location.

Minor gripe here as the mountain stream was a bit untidy with some rubbish about probably from the previous guests.
