Captain Mike's Villa

We have travelled many places in Greece, and this was one of our favorite stays. While the actual Villa is modest, the enormous patio with sweeping views of the sea, shaded by old pine trees was incredible. My two year old loved having a large, outdoor space where he could wander. The Villa is walking distance to several nearby beaches, and well as to restaurants, bakeries, and markets in Syvota. We also drove into Parga several days to take advantage of the great beaches, plentiful shopping, and food there. Place was clean and stocked with necessities, and the host was communicative and helpful.

As another reviewer mentioned, if you aren’t relatively mobile, I would recommend a car to get around. While things are walkable, it’s probably a 25 minute, hilly walk to the main Syvota restaurants. We travelled in October, so the town was quiet and parking was always easy.

It was like our own little holiday retreat. The villa was spacious with bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen. It had amazing views of the sea and you could walk 5 minutes to a small beach. It was a short drive to town. I loved that we could do our laundry here. It had a coffee machine and great coffee. The host left us a lovely welcome package of goodies and was available if we needed assistance.

Nothing negative about our stay. We'd stay here again.

Amazing sea view. Tranquil location nestled under pine trees. Large terrace with different seating and lounging areas. Nice decor inside. Quite spacious. Kitchen has everything you need (including filter coffee maker). Decent beds. Stavros was responsive and helpful. There was a lovely welcome pack when we arrived. Quite good location: 2-5 minute walk down to lovely small beach (no facilities but some natural shade, perfect for an early morning swim), 10 minutes walk to Zavia Beach (bit noisy and crowded), 15 minutes walk to Mega Ammos beach (good for sunbeds and kayaks, excellent restaurant Oliva), 12-15 minutes (slightly arduous) walk into town (supermarkets, bakeries, butcher), 25 minutes walk to harbour (boat trips, fishmonger, restaurant). Would definitely stay here again! Recommendations: Supermarkets do free deliveries and will drive you back with your shopping. Hire a boat from the harbour.

Nothing negative but two things to be aware of: Kitchen is fully equipped with oven etc but is very small. For those without a car it’s a good location only if you’re reasonably fit and mobile.

We spent 4 days at Captain Mikes‘s Villa and had the best time! The house is lovely, the garden is just wonderful and the location is also stunning - a cute beach is just a 5 minutes walk away and you can easily reach syvota to visit a couple of small beautiful islands. Stavros always answered us right away and was very helpful. We were really happy to stay there :)

The house located in a pine forest with a beautiful view to Bella Vraka beach. It was fully equipped and there was a compliment from our host, that was a good surprise. Our host Stavros was on disposal all the time and gave us a full information that we were interested in.
