Villa Astarta , Canggu, 5 mins to Berawa beach Newly Renovated

Nothing except that the rooms are big

Isolated, smells bad, facilities are dirty and run down

The house is very aesthetic and in a good location but the rest is not worth the money you pay for it. You can tell the house hasn’t been cleaned properly since the very first moment you step in and that’s probably also why there are so many insects. One of the toilets in the bedrooms was not flushing so we tried to message the owners, they didn’t even answer about this issue nor have they taken any action, they just brought us new towels after request. This stay was very disappointing even though it could have a great potential with a better housekeeping system and service.

Definitely unbeatable for the price. The villa feels cozy and clean. The kitchen is fully furnished which is great if you want to cook and not go to the restaurant all the time. The parking is big and can hold multiples motorcycles.

The road to the villa is a bit bumpy which can be tricky to maneuver for beginner bikers. This is not the owner's fault.

Outside the villa was not the most pleasant environment. It did have a lot of character though

Location not what is on map and not 5 mins to berawa beach. Loud construction across the road and we felt very unsafe. Dirty, dead bugs in bathroom. Photos did not match. We stayed one day instead of 5 booked- requested some kind of refund and nothing was provided. Very unhappy.
