Villa Matkovic

Wonderful accommodation. 2 minute walk from the beach, restaurants, your morning run, play area for children, boat to Dubrovnik. Nothing could be improved. Marco collected us at the airport and communication was perfect. 5 stars!

Gorgeous views of the old town and the bay. Spacious and the outside areas are lovely. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Marko helped us with our luggage (be aware that there’s no drive up street and you will need to carry your luggage to the property which involves stares). The hosts were kind to have some water and wine for us in the fridge when we arrived.

We arrived late after a long trip and it would be nice to have some shower soap at the property. Otherwise we loved everything.

The host (Marco) met us at the airport and drove us to the villa. He then assisted us with our bags to the property and let us in. He showed us around the villa and didn't leave until he had answered all of our questions. A couple of days later, we found two bottles of local wine on the door waiting for us. He was so helpful and patient with all of our many questions. The villa itself was perfect for our party of 5. We went to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't have been more pleased. The views are amazing and the place is extremely comfortable for larger parties. Upon departure, Marco met us at the villa and then drove us to the airport. When we arrived at the airport, I realised I had left a jacket and another guest left a ring. He found them both for us and sent them to me in England. What a star. I cannot recommend both Marco and his villa enough.
