Baobab Village

All the requests I had made prior during my booking had been set up, from a baby cot to a chef by the time we arrived. The choice of chef was excellent. The swimming pool is cleaned regularly and manned, the kids loved it. I was also pleasantly surprised to find and easily switch to solar backup on one of the nights during a power black out.

Upon arrival, the space seemed hurriedly cleaned, and didn't inspire confidence on the overall state of cleanliness - especially the baby cot sheets which were visibly untouched for what seemed like weeks with dirt particles on them. The facility could also do well to replace some of the old towels, as well as the outdoor lights which kept flickering and going off for some period of time.

The staff were excellent. Franklin was especially helpful and responsive. Ronald, the chef was also very good and helpful in purchasing fresh seafood for us on a daily basis. The Host, Daniele's communication was excellent. He was very responsive to issues that arose. The Villa was very clean, spacious and ideal for our big family group.

Unfortunately we had an issue with being allowed access to the covered parking area for our car which resulted in damage to our car. However, Daniele and Franklin were very apologetic and tried their best to resolve the issue and offered to assist in payment for the damage. I think it should be made more clear in the description that the Villa's are on a shared compound and that the swimming pool is also shared by guests from all the Villas.

Very nicely made houses at the end of Watamu. Beautiful design and setup. Very good housekeeper Franklin that was taking care of us.

Somehow the owner must have lost appetite in that nice property. The pool was dark green when we arrived, the toilet was leaking, not enough towels and no beach access (yes there is after 300m walk when there is low tide but locked)….after 2 days and some treatment requested the pool was accessible but still no clear water

Spacious and comfortable house located not far from papa remo beach. The staff is very help full and kind. Nice swimming pool too.

The staff was amazing, especially Franklin the caretaker (give that man a raise!). The chef for a day deal is something to take advantage of for a special occasion too. The location was amazing, away from the busy nightlife in Watamu and peaceful. Facilities were clean and housekeeping was done daily and promptly. The experience was a 10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone planning to visit Watamu

Nothing. One note is that it could be difficult to find as it is extremely close to a bigger resort, but the guards were extremely friendly and direct you to where it is when you ask.

I liked the house and the staff. (Franklin and Rogers) There was an Internet connection full time. It was a serene environment. Very good and clean swimming pool. It is a great place for family vacation.

There was no air conditioning system in the living room. Would be nice to have DsTV if possible.
