VILLA BERNA

The villa is beautiful, lovely bedrooms, comfortable beds and plenty of storage. Kitchen has everything you need. The two patio areas mean you can always eat in the shade and the BBQ was good. The pool was perfect. The host, Juan was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Really nice house and garden with pool. Communication with the owner was also very good. Clean and close enough to everything around.

Juan Miguel was an excellent host who was very accommodating throughout. The villa was modern and spacious and even better than the pictures. The new master bedroom and en suite were brand new and exceeded our expectations. We have a newborn and the villa had everything we needed - high chairs, cot bed, plastic utensils etc. The pool was a bonus. The location was great and very close to the beach and restaurants with the old town only a very short drive. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Lovely villa in a quiet spot but close to the beach and shops. Very clean and nice finished house. Ideal for family. Pool was also great however bit cold at this time of the year. Everything was there. Very good contact with the host Juan who greeted us on arrival. Would come back there again.

Der Aufenthalt war von Anfang bis Ende einfach perfekt 👌🏼 Wir wurden von unserem Vermieter persönlich an der Villa begrüßt und es warteten sogar ein paar mallorquinische Spezialitäten im Kühlschrank auf uns. Während des Aufenthalts hat sich Juan sehr aufmerksam gezeigt und sich um alles gekümmert. Die Lage und der Pool sind wirklich ein Traum. Die Lage am Ende einer Sackgasse war perfekt. Aber Geschäfte und Restaurants und auch der Strand sind nach kurzem Fußweg gut zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Woche 🩷

Spacious Villa Amazing Pool Views of the mountains Private

The villa had everything we needed and the owners Juan Miguel and his wife were amazing. Juan was in regular contact to ensure we got everything we needed throughout our stay. It's a decpetively large villa with two patios and 3 dining areas, TV with all streaming channels including Netflix and Prime. The pool, although unheated is absolutely fine once you're in! There are sun loungers for everyone! The kitchen is small but well equipped with a terrific large fridge and freezer and the bedrooms are comfy. Best matresses we've slept on in a while! There are air conditionaing units in all the rooms and metal shutters on the windows to keep the insects out,but the air in. Perfect. Much better than any hotel. There is a fantastic outdoor BBQ which we used several times. Supermarkets are just round the corner and there's a bakery which is pretty good too. Great comfortable sofas, a pool that lights up at night, plenty of privacy and lots of security. If you like the beach, it is a short stroll away and you can walk to the port area right along the coast. It will take you about 40 minutes. We loved the villa and would go back.

Despite being in a quiet street, close to shops and restaurants etc, the property is quite a distance from the more salubrious side of Alcudia. If you want the port and historic areas you need a car, or there are regular buses offering a good service. The villa is in an area surrounded by English and Irish bars, rather poor restaurants catering to the masses. It wasn't our taste. But it is a super place to base yourself if you hire a car. Palma is about a 30/40 minute drive and towns like Sóller & Deià are stunning. Historic Alcudia is charming with its Roman ruins and medieval lanes, but it lacks atmosphere. The port area is pretty with better restaurants than the ones surrounding the villa. You can get to these places easily on the buses that run round the corner from the villa. Air-Con in the property is on a timer, which isn't always convenient. Our son was ill one day and really wanted to just stay cool in bed, but because the system only comes on at night he wasn't as comfortable as he could have been. The local cats are a pest. They sit outside the back door howling for food everyday. Please, please be kind and don't encourage them. If animals are regulalrly fed by tourists they lose the ability to go and hunt for their own food and are likely to perish in winter when the tourist season is over!
