An Bang Seastar Boutique Villa

Unfortunately, this accommodation does not live up to its description or reviews. It is basic and tired. Fittings are old, signs of damp and plaster flaking off the walls. Certainly nothing 'boutique ' about the Seastar. A basic homestay, at best. Certainly no frills on offer. The breakfast is also basic, even though the ladies cook to order and make it tasty. There is only a bench table, in the outdoor kitchen, to eat breakfast, or take to your room. Value for money, compared to other accommodation, is poor.

Very comfortable and attractive rooms, with friendly hosts, tasty breakfast, and location a few steps away from the beach. Great for staying away from the crowds and walking to An Bang main strip (5-10 mins) or getting a Grab to Hoi An (10-15 mins).

Very close to a bang beach, quiet at night,nice homestay place. MY is friendly and helpful . We enjoyed the breakfast very much.

One room has musty smell

Perfect location—just a few steps away from An Bang Beach and 10 minutes by scooter/taxi to Hoi An. Early check-in and an invitation to join the staff lunch to celebrate the New Year—lovely gesture. Spacious room with a nice terrace and outdoor bathtub. Responsive staff, fast laundry service, and help with booking a taxi. Breakfast menu has several options.

Swimming seemed not allowed at the beach but staff told us to be unaware of this. The beach had strong waves. Water issues with the bathtub—sometimes no water or no hot water. Juices at breakfast could use some improvement.

The place is in a lovely garden setting. It’s close to the beach in a very nice walkable part of Hoi An. Unfortunately the beach was quite dirty. We had excellent food about 10 mins walk away at a lovely seafood restaurant- there are many to choose from. The trip to the Old Quarter is a 12-min drive by taxi. The host was excellent in arranging everything we needed, including finding a good place to get clothes made.
