Clean, convenient

I emailed the manager of the property after I checked out, because I forgot a personal item and was hoping to pick it up on my way back through Nelson, NZ. The manager failed to respond to me.

Modern bright living space, great location, wonderful outdoor areas to enjoy. Walkable to anything in downtown Nelson! Quiet at night. Awesome shower!

A couple of small fans in the bedrooms would be nice, to circulate air at night. The a/c unit was great, but that air didn’t reach the back of the house by the bedrooms.

Amazing property, designed with so much attention to detail. The property is beautifully appointed. I don’t often spend free time (when I’m not working) at rental properties, but truly enjoyed relaxing in the spaces at the Oaktree House. They are stunning, comfortable and well thought out. The large windows and doors opened up to make you feel like you were outside. The hosts provide so much more than other properties. The Nespresso machine with the frother made delicious coffee. There was a lovely basket of fruit and some candies on the counter. The host was prompt and helpful in responding to questions too. I wish I could have stayed longer but will return if it’s available again next time. What a gem!

Loved the way it felt like a little oasis in the city. One of the people from Nelson told us what it used to be. The owner should tell a bit of the story because it is pretty cute. Loved the attention to detail. Loved the privacy of the garden area. It is not overlooked.

The price was a little steep for the size. The finish on the property was amazing but it didn’t have any extras like a spa, bikes etc. When the doors were open it was a little bit noisy.
