Luxury Cretan Villas with private pools

It was exactly like the pictures and bigger than I expected. Clean and well looked after I loved the offer to get groceries for us which were in the fridge when we arrived. Such a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. Cleaners came in twice in the week we were there plus a window cleaner, pool person and gardener 15 mins drive to Rethymno.do visit the old fort, the old town and the harbour and beach. Go inland and see some of the towns. We drove to the south coast too. Phaistos is much less crowded than Knossos. We walked up Mili gorge and had lunch in the Taverna at the top. Had a fab week..thanks

The location and set up of the property was exceptional, the pool was perfect - exactly what we needed. The facilities are excellent and enabled us to experience Crete at its best. Clean, quiet, and with everything one might need to make the holiday truly a memorable one, the host was helpful and respectful -we will be re-visiting this property for sure.

The apartment was absolutely luxurious, spotlessly clean and cleaned throughout our stay. The pool and outdoor entertaining areas were 5* and the house was generously proportioned with plenty of towels. The aircon was very effective as there was a heat wave during our visit. Constantina was very responsive and attentive. She provided us with a lovely hamper on arrival and made helpful recommendations.

Great location a few km from Rethymnon. However, it was not possible to walk anywhere from the property and the neighbouring property had a few intimidating dogs.

The villa was amazing 5 large rooms with 2 living rooms cleaned regularly inside and out . There's a small shop 10 minutes away and a tavern 15 minutes walk .The old town is a short taxi ride . Would highly recommend it

We met our very professional host to pick the keys up for both beautiful villas for a family wedding for 21 people. Francesca was lovely and showed us round asking us only....treat my home with respect.....not a lot to ask. We had no rules on pools, kitchens, rooms or anything else. Each room is beautiful, the outside area is stunning and a complimentary BBQ lighting pack is there ready. The cleaners are in twice in a week and ask only that you sit by the pool so they can clean the house. The pool man arrives and the gardeners also. All this is communicated and easy to work with. The views are stunning and the local area has two small supermarkets, a small coffee shop and a beautiful restaurant called Christos taverna that will deliver to the villa. Rethymno us 15 euros by cab and I also worked out the bus from the University of crete which is 1.20 euro which is a 9 minute walk away. When leaving we met our host where we received our breakage bond back with ease and thanked us for our stay. In summary. This is a top end product and we loved it and had nothing but a wonderful experience with our host. 11/10 from a newly married Mr & Mrs Clark.

We did not want to leave

Amazing villa, really modern and clean. Fantastic swimming pool, plenty of outdoor space. Incredible views and so peaceful. Our host was so helpful and really put herself out to help us. The local taverna was easy to walk to and the food was delicious and really cheap.

There was nothing we didn't like. The local supermarket was quite small so we found it was better to shop at Lidl, which was about 1.5 miles away.

Lovely villa with superb swimming pool, BBQ, pizza oven etc. Plenty of space for large groups/families, with plenty of outdoor dining space. There is enough distance between the neighbouring properties to be able to have a great time without worry of disturbing other people.

It's a little off the beaten track, so you really need a car, or as we did, made use of the excellent a Ctretan Taxi Services.
