clean and lovely villa with beautiful pool and view

The view from Villa Froso was amazing, especially when lounging in the infinity swimming pool! We never tired of the view, from the bright clear mornings to the moonlit nights, just sitting on the veranda was a holiday in itself. The villa is very spacious and all the amenities were excellent. The villa is only about two years old, so everything is super modern and up to date. The rooms are large and (importantly) the beds are comfortable, something I am rather fussy about! Loads of towels of every size, milk/orange juice/bottled water in the fridge on arrival, very well equipped kitchen for self caterers, highly-efficient aircon. The owner and his wife were charming and immediately replaced a faulty kettle, they were both lovely and organised a mid-stay clean, which was unusual and very welcome. We felt lucky and privileged to rent Villa Froso for a week in early September and hope to return.

You need a car to drive to supermarkets and tavernas, like most villas in Corfu. If you want to walk into Kilami then Villa Froso is quite a steep walk of about 12 minutes up and down a track through Olive trees down to the village. There is a good taverna in easy walking distance, about 3 minutes on the road, right below the villa, but you may not want to eat in the same place every day. The villa has a good looking BBQ and really excellent kitchen, and if you like cooking there is a good supply of fresh fish in the village.
