Black Sand Villas Pererenan

Love the villa that is nestled inside of all the tropical plants. The way they managed all on a smaller property like this is very well done. Ayu and staff are very nice and helpful

The spiral staircase is a pain in the ... No socket near your sink. I blow dried my hair next to the tv. Missing a full length mirror.

This was a beautiful villa, that helped make our stay relaxing and refreshing. It was cleaned daily by the great housekeeping staff, and was less than a 5 minute scooter ride to great restaurants in Pererenan, and less than 10 minutes over to Canggu. We preferred staying away from the hustle and noise of the main areas.

I read reviews regarding the steep and narrow stairs, but we were still surprised by just how steep they were. I would liken them more to a ladder, and would only suggest people who are fit and able to stay here. It was a little bit tricky to find initially, but just call the number and someone from the villa will rush to help you!

A bit hard to find the first time and not easily accessible by car.

Not much I liked about the place except the manager was great to deal with, aside from the that it was a big dissapointment

This villa is basically a tree house ie it is TINY, the stairs are very steep. The airconditioning in the bedroom was useless and the bedding did not get changed once. TV downstairs didnt work. I dont recommend staying here, while the Villa was okay standard for the price it certainly missed the mark and I expected something a lot better.

Ayu the host met us there when we arrived. Walked us through the villa and we even rented a motorcycle from her. Easy and fuss free! The villa was clean and beautiful. Peaceful and quiet, no street noise throughout the nights.

Would not reccommend if you have knee issues - the stairs were incredibly steep and narrow it was hard to bring our luggage up to the room. Price was a little high considering the pool was quite small (there were constantly bugs in it but its not a deal breaker). it was pretty hard to access the villa as it was quite deep in (narrow and rocky road). No scenic view from the villa.

Everything! Beautiful architecture, stunning interior design, amazing pool, surrounded by nature, excellent host, close to many amazing eateries while still being away from the chaos of the main Canggu area. Honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had! Pererenan is definitely the next up and coming place - I wouldn’t bother staying in the Batu Balong/Berewa area there is so many cooler things happening in Pererenan.

That we left after only 3 nights and stayed in the main Canggu area for another 3 nights…. We should’ve stayed at Black Sands the entire time!
