Despina’s villa is a slice of paradise in Elounda. The villa, the pool and that amazing view. We were 2 families sharing the 4 bed villa with seperate living spaces. Despina welcomed us with supplies to get us started and a beautiful homemade dinner on arrival. Amazing service from a super host. Highly recommend a stay here.

We loved this property and would return. Some people might prefer to rent a car as it’s 5 mins by taxi into the centre. It’s not walkable as there are no paths. However the local cafe and supermarket offer excellent delivery service.

This Villa is outstanding!! Absolutely beautiful with every home comfort you could think of. Everything is of the highest quality. The host Despina goes above and beyond to make guests welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Hot, fresh welcome food waiting for us on arrival was so appreciated after a long journey. She was very easy to contact and helped us very promptly with any queries. The housekeeping is every other day and the property is super clean. Gardeners seem to arrive in the night and the grounds are beautifully tendered and sunbeds re set out every day. Pools are perfect. Very peaceful too. The bar-b-que area in the grounds was cool and spacious. The beds are very comfortable indeed. Had the best sleep. Views over to the mountains and across the water are breathtaking. Our family of 8 adults celebrating birthdays and an engagement had the most memorable time ever. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Nothing, everything was absolutely perfect.

Despina waited for us at the house and since we arrived after 9pm, she had brought us local food that was absolutely delicious! She also took the time to give us plenty of recommendations (restaurants, beaches, places to visit, etc.). The view from the villa is amazing. The villa is very spacious. The room upstairs has its own bathroom and terrace. They are two rooms downstairs - one with a private terrace (with privacy and a nice view on the sea) and the third one doesn't have windows but is really spacious. The outdoor space is gorgeous - a very clean pool, plenty of space to enjoy the sun, a table to have lunch (in the shade thanks to the pergola). The location is ideal - close to Elounda and to Agios Nikolaos. We really enjoyed our time there. We were only two; my friend and myself, but would definitely come back with more friends. The villa is idea for families, but also for couples/friends as it is very spacious and offers privacy with the private terraces/outdoor space.
