Villa del Ponente Otranto

The place is marvelous, very calm and peaceful. The pool is beautiful, as is the villa in the middle of fruit trees and fields. It’s only 20min by car from Otranto, and 10 to go to the sea. Sofia and her family were very welcoming and thoughtful during our stay. She helped us rent a scooter and recommended some good restaurants for us to try. We even had the chance to pet Ciccio, the local cat (and real owner of the villa) ! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon !

De kamers waren soms een beetje gehorig

Tolle Villa mit nur 4 Wohneinheiten und einem wunderschön angelegten Garten und einem traumhaften Pool. Die Lage ist top. Man ist schnell mit dem Auto in Otranto sowie an einem der vielen wunderschönen Strände. Sofia und ihr Team sind super freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Sofia hat uns tolle Empfehlungen fürs Dinner gegeben und war bei Rückfragen immer schnell erreichbar! Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

La colazione. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e si fanno in quattro per servirti al meglio, ma la mancanza di una cucina e l’utilizzo esclusivo di prodotti confezionati li penalizza. Tuttavia, amplieranno la struttura, quindi probabilmente questo è solo un passaggio intermedio

An excellent location. we had peace, a large pool, an excellent courtyard, a clean apartment and a perfect breakfast. Sofia answered every question promptly, being the perfect host. Thank you for everything. 🤗

Het verblijf heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Toen wij er waren, was het erg rustig en daardoor hadden we privézwembad. Het zwembad is schoon en aardig groot. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en het was fijn dat er een airco aanwezig was. In de omgeving hebben we het meest genoten van de kustlijn. We hebben meerdere strandjes bezocht om te snorkelen. Vanaf deze locatie zijn we een dagje naar Lecce gegaan, maar dit viel een beetje tegen. Otranto daarentegen is een heel leuk gezellig dorpje. Het ontbijt was simpel maar lekker.

Eigenlijk niets. Voor de locatie (locatie is omgeven door een hek + beveiliging) loopt een weg waar auto's hard rijden. Er is hier geen stoep en daarom zou ik het niet aanraden om lopend/fietsend naar het strand te gaan.
