Vacation house near sea & beaches with HEATED POOL & BBQ

The pool was definitely the highlight of the villa. You absolutely appreciate it if you have small children, as it has the small wading area attached to it. The yard also boasted many sunchairs and few sunscreens. The free use of kayaks and bikes were definitely good add-ons, which are rarely available. The location was also a plus and all the services were near by. Bread shop down the alley, few small markets in short walking distance, tons of restaurants etc. Even though the house needs a massive overhaul, it still works and there's huge amount of space for even larger groups. There were 3 or maybe 4 heat pumps to cool the temperature. Owner was very responsive, but could have provided more details in the ad itself.

Ants. Ants everywhere. I care about general cleanliness, but if someone from our party dropped even the smallest crumb on the floor or on the kitchen counter etc., there would be an army of ants. I don't want to spend my holiday as a pest controller. If you go there with car, do NOT park your car in the villa as it has to go through (busy) beach boulevard, which is not normally allowed to drive through. Near the villa is free parking. Why the owner didn't mention this beforehand is beyond me. Also the neighborhood considers nightime/silence come at 23:00, which is fair in urban environment, but this should also be mentioned in the villa's advertisement. We didn't know the neighbors a) were that close, b) that they get so easily disturbed. If you go to sleep early and are (ultra) tidy, this might be a perfect place for you. Unfortunately for me, even though I generally enjoyed my holiday, there were too much stress for every damned thing.
