The view from the villa. The pool. The spaciousness. Air-con. The garden. Good service from cleaners. Good response to questions before the holiday from the owners.

Kitchen was not very well equipped - insufficient crockery and utensils made it hard to self-cater eg: no grater, no jug, only one chopping board, no washing up bowl (or cloths until requested). Bed mattresses were too thin for comfort. Kitchen sink and bathroom basin plugs did not work - water drained away. We chose not to hire a car but had not anticipated how difficult (impossible really!) it was to move around the locality, especially as one of our party was several months pregnant. This was OK as we chose to have a villa/pool/beach-based holiday but even getting to Pelekas village would have been far too hard on foot. For anyone wanting to travel around the area, it needs to be stressed that a car from the outset is essential.
