Myrarkot Country Home

Beautiful house and helpful hosts; location was perfect and the house had everything you might need. We had quite an Icelandinc weather so getting back to a warm house and a hot tub was perfect. Would come back again in a heartbeat.

Lovely accommodation, easy access and lovely and quite but not far from town.

Hot water could have been hotter

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at Myrarkot. The house was warm, comfortable, and very well equipped for all of our needs, especially the kitchen. The location was perfect for our trips out to see the sights of the Golden Circle and beyond. We very much enjoyed using the hot tub of an evening whilst enjoying the sunsets. And we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from the front decking on 2 nights of our stay. We would highly recommend this property.

The blind in our bedroom was broken but ultimately didn't effect our stay or our enjoyment of the property.

Location is beautiful and offers everything you would need during your stay. It was our base to explore the golden circle and we had a great time! Everything was very clean and comfy! We enjoyed coming back home in the evening after our long daytrips and relaxing in the hot tub!

The property was exceptional. Very clean, with lovely interior, comfortable, specious, warm, and with an amazing view. We had horses outside in the field which added to the nice atmosphere. There was a clean hot tub as a great bonus to the property. The kitchen was fully equipped and specious and everything was in good working condition. Located in a close proximity to many tourist attractions and destinations. It was the best property on our trip. The communication with the owner was very good and check in and out was easy.

We loved the location on the Golden Circle, near Selfoss, surrounded by horses, and the host was very communicative.
