"Beautiful location, but poor maintenance and lack of communication turned our stay into a frustrating experience."

The property offers a breathtaking view and has multiple rooms and bathrooms, which makes it ideal for large groups. However, our stay was significantly affected by several issues that point to a serious lack of maintenance. One bathroom had a strong sewage odor, another leaked toilet water onto the floor when flushed—rendering it completely unusable and causing a highly unpleasant situation for one of our friends. The third bathroom had a faulty shower that flooded the entire space every time it was used, making it nearly impossible to shower without creating a mess. On our second day, we woke up to find there was no electricity or running water. Workers on the street informed us that property owners had been notified in advance of the planned outage. Unfortunately, we were not given any warning. The host claimed they hadn't been informed, but regardless, we were left without essential services for hours. Trapped inside the property due to an electric gate that couldn’t open without power, we had to request someone to bring us water and food. It took hours before someone came to force the gate open. As a result, we lost an entire day stuck indoors with only a few snacks and limited drinking water. To make matters worse, we had no internet access for the first three days. Although we notified the host immediately—stressing the urgency since two of our friends were working remotely—no effective action was taken. Despite prior assurances that internet would be working upon arrival, the host repeatedly promised to visit and resolve the issue but failed to follow through. We agreed on a (modest) compensation with the owner over a month ago, but the refund was never issued. Unfortunately, Booking.com closed our case without resolution, so we had to initiate a new case to follow us the break of the agreement.
