Villa Torrenova 36

Just perfect.. pictures exactly as you see except there there now a shade roof over the eating area by the pool which was very well received. We stayed in August ‘23 with 2 families of 8 and the kids loved it. Very quiet in the evening despite being close to the nightlife and behind the apartments belonging to the same operation. Air conditioning perfect and such a relief after walking up the hill to the villa!

Absolutely nothing. The appliances are all brand new and take some getting used to. Maybe just a floor plan on the website for those in parties of 8 as the additional 2 are in the 2nd sitting room on a large sofa bed which was not clear from the website for those that want to pre-plan the room allocation. For us this worked perfect as 4 girls had that space adjoining one of the downstairs en-suites. The boys had their own suite downstairs and the 2 adults were in the top room with private balcony. There is no sea view but that was no problem for us given the short walk to the beaches.

the Villa was amazing! much bigger than we expected. Pictures are slightly old, outside now was a covered veranda at the table/bbq area. the upstairs bedroom also has a larger terrace area which isn’t seen in the pictures. we booked the entire villa so had all 3 bedrooms. 1 is upstairs the other 2 downstairs. aside the main living / dinning area there is also a ‘tv’ room with a larde sofa bed available if needed. all rooms were brilliant, had their own en suites with 2 showers as well as a hot tub and outdoor shower. all rooms come with a key card which can be used for the door and your room, allowing privacy for family/ groups of people. the garden area especially was bigger than expected. the Villa is behind a metal door so the pictures of outside we assumed was a public path/ other villas nearby but this was not the case. that is part of your garden. stunningly well kept and offered a lot of different sun bathing spots around the villa for when the sun moved. we didn’t make use of the bbq as we ate out everyday but otherwise we stayed in the villa as it has everything you could possibly need. there is also a washing machine/tumble dryer in a cupboard behind the bbq area, very handy for occasional washes needed. there is a spar near the villa as well as a smaller shop next door next to the hotel / apartments. Sonia was amazing with communication, sorting our transfers etc. Enrique on check in day and generally any time we had questions was amazing as well. he really made us feel welcome, taking us round the villa and letting us know how they could help if we had any issues. all staff in the hotel next door - which you can also use their pool etc if you wanted - were all lovely and very polite. all in all - simply gorgeous and we will definitely be back.

there wasn’t anything we didn’t all love but a few things to note when booking. the pool is not heated - great for hot days but otherwise too chilly for more than a toe dip. the Villa is at the top of a fairly steep hill. my brother has a plate in his ankle so can struggle with mobility however it’s not ‘hiking’ so he had no issues. there are stairs to get into the Villa also. for us, it’s Spain so we are used to lots of hills. other reviews have mentioned ants and yes there are ants but it’s not dirty or excessive. it’s mostly just outside with the occasional few coming indoors. it was not an issue at all. you would not visit London and complain that there are pigeons! pigeons come in to drink from the pool occasionally however we loved it! it was nice to see nature being nature and looked forward to their daily visits. really scraping the barrel but this is the most we could possible say for bad points. none of it affected us whatsoever. we loved everything.
