Sunlight Villas Heated Pool

Villas are clean, very good sized and well equipped. They are very well maintained and the pools being heated is a big bonus. The view is spectacular.

The beds are very hard, and sleep was not great.

The villas were absolutely beautiful, very clean and very spacious. We travelled as a group of 18 to celebrate my 30th birthday and loved this place. We had 2 villas and all the utilities to facilitate big meals, BBQs and a pool party. The added bonus was that we didn't have any nearby neighbours so we didn't need to worry that much about keeping quiet or disturbing anyone. Overall a great place and we will definitely return (Also, great location close to both Chania and Rethymno)

Great place and view

Poor internet and the water pressure on the first floor was low when water was used on the ground floor. From time to time the air from the air conditioners had a smell

The location and the view every day was breathtakingly beautiful, we couldn’t stop taking pictures! As we drove up the hill the first time we were starting to get worried but when we arrived, every doubt was gone! The staff was so accommodating and lovely, the villa was beautiful, clean and spacious and the view was just perfect. The pool was the cherry on top.

The only minus point are the fact that the pool loses tiles as we collected lose tiles off the floor of it and the water shortage that we experienced on two evenings when the showers ran almost dry. But the latter might be an environmental problem of the whole island due to high heat and tourism.

The villas were beautiful, very spacious and modern. We attended with a group of 19.

The pools were not like they are in the photos. They are very dangerous and caused one guest to visit the hospital in Reythmno and receive 7 stitches. The walls to the shallow areas have been removed leaving large platforms submerged in the water with sharp tile edges that have no identifying factors. Once we notified the villa owners of the ordeal and the injuries they accused us of lying about the injuries and claimed there was nothing wrong with the pools. The current layout of the pool could easily cause serious injury like we endured or even death so please be careful when using them and avoid diving or jumping.
