Villa Melati R3 Ungasan

The villa is beautiful with a nice view overlooking the forest. The decor is modern and very tasteful.

The villa is part of a group of villas within the Hideaway Residences. It took us a while to find the place - even the taxi driver and locals were not sure where it was. We only found it when we tried our luck and asked the reception at the Hideaway Residences, where the address is. But there was no sign that indicated Villa Melati anywhere. If that wasn't concerning enough, when we called the number in the listing, it was to someone in Australia. To be fair, she had earlier on sent us the number of the staff who was supposed to welcome us but she was not picking up her calls. This was definitely no help when we were already having difficulty finding the property. For families, do note that this is not a full-service property. The Hideaway Residences has a cafe that offers breakfast and meals but other than that, the staff at the reception were not very willing to help us with other services. E.g. when we tried to book a taxi, they suggested we use Grab. Likewise when we wanted to rent a motorbike, they offered a number we could call to make our own arrangements. In summary, it's more of an airbnb, DIY kind of property than the usual kind of property you'd find on this platform.

Everything was amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Place was clean and cosy.

Location wasn't close but was nice and quiet.
