Villa Antica

Villa Antica was well appointed. The host provided coffee milk and pasta!! The location was ideal. It is a quiet village 30 minutes from positano. There are a lot of steps to get to the villa but fewer than most as far as I could tell. I rented a car but i would not get a car there again because the roads are narrow and the traffic can be crazy. But I cannot say enough about the beauty and charm of the villa. I would stay there again despite the multitude of options.

The Villa is beautiful with plenty of space and everything you would need in the kitchen. The pool was amazing- a little cold to venture in in April. The view was spectacular!! Just to be prepared- There was no street parking (easter weekend) so we had to use the paid lot (euro 36 /day- coins or app). The Villa is high up on the hillside so be prepared for about 200 steps!! There is a bus that will take you to the beach/ restaurants in Praiano or into Positano- it’s pretty much on schedule.

Took a little to get oriented to the area but it was worth it for the privacy and space of having the whole villa to ourselves.

Great communication from the host, organised a point to meet them and follow to the property as it would be hard to find if not guided.

Praiano, What a great place. No day trippers. Positano only 4kms or a local bus ride away. Amalfi a beautiful ferry ride down the coast. Fab family run local restaurants.

The steps - Lol Nothing you can do, its part of the charm but if you are in anyway immobile you will have problems on the Amalfi coast

Great location, views and plenty of space. The facilities were amazing and the owners extremely helpful

The property itself is beautiful once you arrive there. Beautiful views, and a great size house.

The description on all of the rental sites claims 70 steps, but what it fails to tell you is that prior to getting to the last 70 steps there is a series of additional steps, ramps, walkways, cobblestones, and more steps. It would take approximately 10 minutes to get from where you park to get there, so once you’re in the house you do not leave for the day if you think you have to come back. I recommend this property for a type of person that is very active and is used to hiking but again once you’re inside the house it’s very beautiful with beautiful views.

Location in village was excellent - really felt like in a village and not a resort. Host was exceptionally helpful, and responsive. We enjoyed our time there and - not often this happens - was deeply disappointed to be leaving!
