Akrorama private villas and suites

Our stay at Akrorama Villa was fantastic. The house is in a wonderful location on a hill with a breathtaking view of the sea and the caldera as well. It’s spacious, beautifully furnished, and has everything you could possibly want. The pool and the large hot tub are perfect for swimming and relaxing. Also the Sunset View is great! The breakfast was also fantastic and delicious! Special mention must also go to Zenia, Dimitris, and the entire staff. They are super friendly, always available, helpful, and yet very respectful of privacy. It doesn’t get any better than this! We’d love to come back! Thank you so much!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Zenia is very knowledgeable about the island and gives great local tips. The breakfast delivered straight to the suite is fresh, hot and delicious. The room is comfortable and well laid out with a huge comfy bed. The views are beautiful across the caldera and across to other islands. The private pool (one in each suite) and private sundeck are perfect for relaxing. The area is great with the lighthouse not far for great sunset views. The local village has everything you need and is very quaint to walk down through. It's far enough from the cruise ship crowds to be serene and peaceful but only 40 mins from the opposite side of the island (Oia) by car. We would recommend a car/ATV/moped to get around but there are local buses.

There's really nothing we didn't like. If there's any feedback it would be great to have a slightly bigger fridge with a small ice compartment

Fantastic views Clean room Great breakfast Lovely staff Loved this accommodation. Zenia was really helpful and if we wanted to arrange a taxi, transfer, hire a car, etc, we could just send her a message and she'd organise it. Made the trip really stress free. While the accommodation isn't near anything major, it makes the rooms a lot more private than places in Oia or Fira where others overlook your balcony. We give this place a 10/10 and if we come back to Santorini we'll definitely stay here!

One minor issue is the accommodation isn't near anything major so you need transport to get into town. You can walk to Akrotiri though, which is a nice town. Car rentals and taxis can be arranged from the accommodation though and can be delivered straight to the car park at the front.

Akrorama villas were as the name suggests - private! Located away from the chaos of Fira and Oia this location offers all the luxuries, the view and none of the crowds. Your host Zenia is also extremely generous with her time and knowledge of Santorini. From restaurant booking to excursion planning as well as local tips; it really feels like a converge service! The private pool is also great along with the daily room service and freshly prepared breakfast!

Nothing to dislike, you just need to be aware a car is required unless you want to spend hundreds of euros on taxis to get to and from other parts of the island.

Akrorama is the most beautiful accommodation we have stayed in, so private, clean and the views are out of this world. Zenia is the perfect host and was always available to answer any questions and help book restaurants, car etc. The breakfast every morning was so fresh and a great variety.
