Sehr schönes Haus mit einer Top-Ausstattung.

Der Pool war leider nicht so gepflegt, dass man ihn nutzen wollte.

We zitten op een schitterende lokatie. Beter kunnen we niet zitten, vlakbij 2 stranden en verschillende wandelroutes. Joanna is een schatje, zeer betrokken en altijd bereid. Hetzelfde geldt voor de poetshulp, de poolboy, de klusjesman. Zij doen allen heel veel moeite om het huis te onderhouden.

Tegenvallen is veel gezegd. Wel stellen we vast dat de huizen erg lijden .... - Vorig jaar in hetzelfde huis meldden we een waterprobleem. Dit jaar was de geur in de bewuste kamer verdwenen maar het probleem is er nog steeds met als gevolg geen verlichting in de garage en niet functionerende stopcontacten omdat de zekering was uitgezet. - Reeds vorig jaar viel de tuinverlichting al uit de houten palen. Dit jaar nog steeds maar daarbovenop kortsluiting. De volgende zekering wordt uitgezet. - In diverse kamers (slaapkamer vooraan, living vooraan naast slaapkamer, kamer beneden) zijn er duidelijke vochtproblemen. De bepleistering komt helemaal los. - Afvoerpijpen zijn er niet waardoor de buitenbepleistering duidelijke waterafvoerstrepen vertoonr. Wellicht gaat het grotendeels om constructiefouten maar als hier niets aan gebeurd ... Los van dit alles, wij komen sowieso terug. Er is al min of meer gereserveerd tem 2030. Maar als jullie de huizen in goede staat willen houden, zullen bepaalde zaken o.i. toch grondig moeten aangepakt worden.

Das Haus war sehr schön und gemütlich. Perfekte Lage und Ausstattung - uns hat nichts gefehlt.

Der Garten und der Pool vertragen etwas Pflege.

Pool area needs a bit of repair, decking around pool.

Spacious and clean and the 3 bathrooms were really useful.

We found unheated pool really cold and it had green grime around the edge which wasn’t cleaned off. Not very private around the pool with open fencing.

Villa 37 actually looks even better than in the photos. It's spacious , airy , full of light , nicely furnished and has a great outdoor area with western sun at the back. Great view from the lounge and the front balcony over the river and mountain ranges and over the native vegetation from the pool area. Silence and tranquility .We were very happy with Rita's assistance with check in and other issues.Easy walking distance to both beaches - Monte Clerigo and Amoreira. It can be chilly in the house in the mornings and evenings as we don't like aircon but it wasn't a big issue.

water pressure in the shower is not great and the electric heater is quite small so doesn't give much warmth in the bathroom.

The person from the agency was very communicative and friendly. The villa is magnificent with beautiful views and is located at a short walk to the beach. It is very well equipped. There is lots of space for a great stay. The area has very beautiful beaches and countryside for great walks. There are shops in the village nearby (car is needed). Several restaurants are at walking distance. The neighbourhood is very calm. We would definitely come back! The airconditioning can be used for heating during the winter.
