"The worse holiday we’ve ever been on"

The villa was nice and clean

The pool was cold as hadn’t been turned on prior to stay. There was a leak in the bathroom which ran down to the kitchen so needed to turn off all kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, this lead to being in darkness on a number of occasions as electricity tripped out. After one night and being unable to use any kitchen appliances or the upstairs showers and sinks we decided to ask Valerie for a discount which she declined. We all agreed we’d vacate the villa for a full refund over WhatsApps. After vacating the property and the inconvenience of having to find somewhere else to stay, we never received a penny for both cost of the stay and even for the deposit.

"Brief stay to recharge"

The property is well appointed internally, secure and perfect for families. You just need to consider transport if you have little ones.

Location is rather remote. You need a car or taxi numbers. There is a small town about 20 minutes walk away which has all you need.

The beds were spotless and comfortable. It was great to have a private pool.

It seemed expensive. 1000 euro on credit card incase of breakages at the start of a holiday that took a while to get back after we'd left. 250 euro cleaning fees in cash on arrival for pool cleaning etc. Overall the property more suited to adults sharing the expense and also the stone staircase and glass banisters although feeling luxurious wouldn't suit young children. Difficult enough to get a taxi. Expense aside and learning to live with ants we actually had a lovely family holiday and factored the twenty minute or so walk to the shops into the daily routine.
