Accessible Luxury

The property is great, and the host is very welcoming, doing her best to accommodate all our needs promptly. She was open to adapting the hour of breakfast till 11 or later, which was great as we went to the beach first thing in the morning and then had breakfast. The property is close to beaches and restaurants (approx 7-10 minutes walks). You access the first beach in 1-2 minutes, but better ones are a bit further away. They offer toys for kids to use on the beach, umbrella, and sunbathe chairs. One can also find beach towels in the closet. 😃 As we travelled with kids (9 and 1 year old), we found some toys in the living room, which was a very nice touch.😊 The host also provided our daughter with a nice notebook and pencils. We did not use it, but the host offered to help doing the kids' laundry. The terrace is large and nicely decorated. They have air conditioning in both rooms (and bathroom but we couldn't make it work). Being in the city, the property offers easy access to shops/minimarkets, pharmacies, caffees, and many pastry and sweets shops (one being of the owners, right downstairs the property).

There is nothing really on the property itself. 💗 However, we would have liked to know while booking - The property is on the main street of the city, and there are Many tuned cars and motorcycles doing A LOT of noise, especially in the evening till late into the night (up to 2am). If you are a light sleeper, we believe that sleeping anywhere on the main street of this city could be a challenge. 🫣 The fact that the city is on the flight path of all the departures from Athens airport is also good info to have. 🙃 Otherwise, the property itself is great. Located on the second floor (so expect stairs) of the building where also the owner is living.

Apartament spełnił wszystkie nasze oczekiwania pod każdym względem. Wspaniale urządzony, wyposażony we wszystko co potrzebne, w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji blisko plaży. Właścicielka apartamentu było bardzo pomocna. Przepyszne śniadania oraz ciastka i lody w cukierni Eleny. Do zobaczenia, na pewno tam wrócimy.

We absolutely loved staying at Elena's place. The appartment is on the last floor with a beautiful rooftop terrasse. It's well equitpped and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. Most importantly, Elena is super nice and caring.

Absolutely great experience! The hostess Elena was so friendly, always making sure that we had everything we needed and that we felt comfortable and happy. The decoration of the house was also fantastic, thought out to the smallest details, we discovered something new all evening long. It was very kind that Elena took care of our children by treating them with ice cream from her cafe, and by giving them candy for the road, and also even learning a few phrases in Latvian.

The host, Elena was fantastic & extremely accommodating. The apartment is exquisite, beautifully designed & so welcoming. It provides everything you may require. Breakfast was very generous, hot & cold choices & all beautifully prepared. Walking distance from the beach, great restaurants & shops. About 15-20 minutes drive from the airport (traffic dependent). I highly recommend this place. We were disappointed we could only stay 1 night due to flight requirements. When we return to Athens, we'll definitely stay here again.

Very nice apartment, 2 min walking from beach & groceries. Excellent host very attentive to your needs, we have a 2 year old and she brung a lot of toys from hers to entertain him :)

When I first found the property and looked at the photos, I cried. It was so beautiful and to my delight was available. When I arrived and walked through the apartment, I cried again. It was more beautiful than I could imagine. It is like she created it just for me with all my favorite things from a breakfast nook in the terrace with an ocean view, hammock, swing, sunrise and sunset views, satin sheets, waterfall shower and more! Every morning I was greeted with freshly made Greek pastries of spinach and cheese, croissants, tea, juice, eggs, in abundance. The evening I was treated with the most decadent homemade chocolate ice cream I have ever tasted. Elena exudes the heart of hospitality and spoils you to no end with over the top care. She made sure that I had access to all the historical places that I wanted to visit like Acropolis and the Parthenon. If you are a single female traveler, I cannot recommend this stay enough. You will be mother's and cared for better that your grandma and you won't want to leave. The local town offers a variety of shops, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance If possible, I would give a 20 star rating for my stay. I will definitely return as soon as possible

There was nothing that I did not like.

This was an amazing spot as a solo traveller. Elena was so hopeful with getting to and from her place, making sure I had everything I needed, and making me safe, comfortable, and at home.

This was exactly what I needed for my stay. As the bed is low to the ground, it may be difficult for anyone with mobility concerns.

The property is amazing! Elena and her father built the whole apartment and Elena decorated it with a beautiful Asian inspired design. The private roof deck is accessible from the lounge and the bedroom and it is filled with beautiful plants and decor. The included breakfast menu was so extensive we didn’t realize there would be so much food! We had enough from our breakfast leftover that we had our afternoon meal too! The Bakery downstairs is named for Elena’s daughter Emily and shows the love of good food and quality ingredients in all she makes. We look forward to having the chance to stay again if we ever get to return to Greece!

Just be aware there are several sets of stairs to get the the apartment- this not a criticism - we like using stairs- just a heads up- there is an elevator that will cut out some flights of stairs but you will still need to do some.

Elena is the most delightful, engaging, accommodating, lovely, friendly, gorgeous host on the planet. She personally picked us up from the airport late evening, the transfer fee was minimal. Her sole focus on our arrival at her property was ensuring that we were all ultra comfortable. A bottle of wine, cheese, dried fruit, awaited us. Ice cream and pastries were offered. Breakfast was superb - choice, quality, quantity. Elena arranged a private vehicle for us to visit the Acropolis, and the Poseidon Temple, fabulous. Elena personally drove my daughter to the airport for an early morning flight. The decor of the property is unique. A vast array of interesting items adorned every room. The outdoor area was amazing, my favourite. A large area, with various seating options, including a table setting, the perfect place for a perfect breakfast. Sadly, we only had one night stays. The property is just back from the beach, there are some good restaurants around. It is close to the airport. I chose the property based on location and feedback rating of 10. My rating for Elena is 10+++ There could be no better welcome to Greece then spending some time with Elena at her property.
