We absolutely loved our stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and the villa itself was amazing. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower, and the bed was so comfortable. It was such a thoughtful touch to have our room made up twice a day — it really made the stay feel extra special.

Honestly, there’s nothing we could fault.

Facilities and staff were amazing! The bathroom was luxurious with delicious soaps and perfect for an evening bath. The pool and outdoor area were lovely to relax and read. High ceilings made the space feel open and light. Really easy to get to all places by bike or gojek. Highly recommend!! Will stay again.

At this price point, what happened here is simply unacceptable. To be clear: the villa itself was clean, and the on-site staff were consistently polite and helpful. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. During my stay there was repeated water ingress from the roof directly over active power sockets and electrical wiring, creating a serious and obvious safety hazard (risk of electric shock and fire). This was not a one-off incident and occurred again after rain. What was most concerning was not just the defect itself, but the way it was handled: The villa manager clearly lacked the authority (“pouvoir”) to take decisive action or resolve the situation. Communication was slow, deflective, and procedural. The owner appeared stubborn and uncooperative, delaying resolution despite the seriousness of the issue. I was only released from the remaining nights after further escalation and additional evidence, rather than proactively for safety reasons. When I later returned briefly to collect forgotten belongings, the villa had effectively become a construction site, with sections of the ceiling cut open above the electrical outlets to repair the leak — confirming that the issue was neither minor nor hypothetical. For a high-end villa charging premium rates, this is simply not good enough. There are far better, newer, and better-managed properties available in Bali at significantly lower prices, with owners who understand both safety obligations and guest experience. This stay caused significant disruption and stress, and a disproportionate amount of my holiday time was spent documenting issues and chasing resolution. Bottom line: Nice staff and a clean villa cannot compensate for serious safety failures, weak management authority, and an inflexible owner — especially at this price level. I would not book again, and I would strongly recommend others look elsewhere.
