The location, propoerty care taker service, meal prices and preparation and overall villa.

Location was great; very well managed and maintained; beautiful garden, Caretaker (Ramesh) was very helpful, caring and a great chef.

I have to write this one, so people don't fall into the trap like we did !! We booked this place for 2 days on booking.com thinking of having a good place for our short family trip . Things looked nice on photos , plus with kids (one child and an infant ) around it seemed very comfortable. After we paid the money online things turned around and we got to know about stuff which are not mentioned on booking.com They have their own set of rules and guidelines which they send via email ,once the payment is done and it came as a bit of shock to us. I will list down the major ones here - Kitchen was not included in the air Bnb as it is stated on booking.com We were not allowed to use the Kitchen on our own . They have a caretaker who has the access and we can order food through him .Basically order a la carte so they can make additional money . This was a big no go for us and we tried contacting them and customer support from booking.com online and on call to resolve this again and again but we couldn't . They were insisting that these rules are shared on booking.com which was not the case . I showed them in person(The caretaker) once we were there that this is not the case and they gave me a written confirmation via email that it's a mistake from their side. But that didn't change anything and we still couldn't use the kitchen . - Guests were also not allowed , which was again not stated on booking.com but on the rules page which they give once you have paid. - Security deposit is 15000 RS and not 10000 RS as it is stated on booking.com They don't give any reciept for that or any kind of bill , so again very risky . - The staff is nice , so we did decide to order some food and beverages from them .The money was deducted from the security deposit but again no receipt was given for that . Plus after asking for proper Bill for the food and for the stay , we still didn't get any proper Bill for the place .

• Booking process – o Browsing through the website was a breeze, with comprehensive pictures and property details. o While booking, I overlooked adding GST details. However, upon submitting a separate request, a customer care representative reached out to me and the matter was addressed within minutes. o Communication regarding the property's location, terms and conditions, caretaker details, and SaffronStays contact person was well-organized and efficient. • Location – o The villa is centrally located, approximately 1.6 kms from the Clock Tower. Despite its proximity to the bustling city, it offers a serene escape as it is tucked away on the Mall road, just a few meters inside. Surrounded by lush greenery and lots of trees, it was a tranquil haven. • Property – o The villa emanates a charming aura, featuring a delightful mix of brick-coloured and white exteriors set amidst lush greenery. The rooms are all spacious and bathed in natural sunlight. Every corner of the villa is thoughtfully designed, with enchanting details such as the abundance of Ganesha sculptures, a book-themed cabinet, and a wall adorned with idols, bells, and diya arti. Exploring and appreciating the aesthetics of each carefully curated item itself became a captivating experience. o The front garden is a visual treat, adorned with vibrant petunias in full bloom. Adding to the allure are garden chairs, a swing, and thoughtful water provisions for birds. The garden becomes a haven for various bird species, enhancing the overall charm of the property. o There is a provision for lots of indoor and outdoor games. Our family enjoyed playing badminton, Uno and Jenga. Star gazing from the lawns was a luxury for our girls who rarely get to see clear skies. • Caretaker o Ramesh Ji, the caretaker, was very helpful, kind and polite. He prepares meals on request. It adds to the culinary experience to watch him pluck fresh coriander and curry leaves from the.
