Villa Futura

I had a fantastic stay at Villa Futura in Sicily. The location was exceptional, and it was a pleasure to communicate with the friendly staff. One of the highlights was the convenience of being within walking distance to Scopello, which added to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this villa for a memorable Sicilian getaway.

We were welcomed by the owners and they were very communicative and responsive to our questions throughout our stay. Location is perfect for visiting Scopello and for peace and quiet. The zingaro park is a “must visit”.

The facilities were good but the bedside tables could be more stable. The kitchen is not so well stocked but we did not want to cook at home so it was not a problem. Some teabags would be a good addition!

The host was very flexible, communicative and friendly. Nothing to say against that! The place could be nice in the summer if you dont intend to stay longer at the house or on the space. 6 guests would be theoretically possible. The criticism made in the section below does not apply personally to the hosts, it should just be a guidance for other travellers what they can expext and what not.

The villy is relatively new and in a very clean state. For a "family holiday" the space is totally fine. WE traveled at the end of the season, so the region was very empty, restaurants were all closed and supermarkets as well (or out of stock). This is nothing against the host or the villa, its just important to know. What we did actually not like is that outside chairs (a lot) were not confortable, so basically no relaxed seating area to enjoy the (beautiful) sea view. The same applies to the living area inside: very uncomfortable couch, so inhouse as well nothing to relax. Furthermore is was clear that the house is purely built for renting out, the entire equipmment is of cheapest quality. We can understand this as the villa can be re-furnished after a few years again with cheap stuff. However, this will not create any cosy feelings as we know this from other appartmenets or villas at the sea.

perfect place for holiday! We loved the view. Home is really well equipped. I will strongly recommend this place!
