Malaiya Homestay - Grandeur Living Experience

Liked the size and structure of the room allotted to us, had a kitchenette and a balcony that helped to mange pets easily.

Room could have been little more clean, floor was dirty.

The sheets were clean and our daughter had a bout of food poisonings on the way, and upon messaging en route, they made sure rice and dal grains, bread, butter were bought and kept so we could make some home food in the homestay itself.they didnt even charge us for this and were prompt in their replies. There was salt, pepper, and utensils for basic food prep and the switches were all well marked to avoid confusion. the air-conditioning worked fine. Filter water was available for consumption. It was decent value for money, not luxurious.

The helper who settled us in , was helpful while we checked in . He wanted the room payment upfront and then disappeared. But Didn't come or respond when we needed help later in the evening. Small changes could make it a much better reviewed place, like a cleaner bathroom with toilet paper and a decent sponge or scrubber and dish soap for the kitchen sink.

This home stay has great bio environment ....Homestay has all modern facilities....very neat and clean....all essential.cooking facilities....I felt like staying at home....Daily room service was there....There was no noise and pollution....Malaiya homestay meets all expectations at a very affordable prices ...I will again visit here when I will come at Jabalpur for the next time..

Only thing is that we have to carry our own luggages in to our room during check in as there was no one to help us ....during check out , there was also nobody to help us unless I informed caretaker ...at last care taker helped us ...

Property was very clean and good as well very cooperative staff.

The place was much more than a hotel room. It was like an apartment. There was a big entrance/living room, a big kitchen with a good hot plate and stainless steel pot,utensils etc and spices to use for cooking and two large bed rooms. The host provided me with a free large bowl of kitcheri served with love by the welcome man and his wife for my supper. It only took 31 minuted to get to the airport at 6:00 am.

It was on a fairly busy street and there were quite few mosquitos. I am glad I brought my stand alone mosquito net. The towel that they provided was plastic micro fiber. It felt terrible . Luckily when I explained the problem they came up with a cotton towel. We all need to be aware that plastic including polyester and micro fibers are choking our Mother Nature. I asked the welcome man to book me a taxi to go to the airport and it cost me 800 rupees. I looked at Uber and they would have been 535 rupees.

Room Size was good, Utensils were provided for cooking

The blanket could have been a bit thick in cold seasons

Aquagard and A/c Provided in the room. Basic Kitchen stuff. NO TOWELS. Blankets were super tiny - not suitable for adults.

Located in a marketplace. Noisy location. Roadside Bungalow with a commercial space converted into a hostel offered as homestay to travellers. Not suitable for families as such - especially with kids. Customers' Pets spoil and dirty the property which is not deep cleaned for the next traveller.
