Shanti samui Resort

The Villa was big and very clean and comfortable. The best were the landlords Vanessa and her husband as well as their daughters:-) we could not ask for more friendly, kind and helpful people. They made it even better for us. The pool was just perfect to chill and it was quiet and peaceful. Really recommand for a quieter stay on the island. You have everything you need to cook your own food.

It was create lication by the beach but at least 1km away from closest shop. But nothing you cannot walk to in 10 15minutes.

Charming place, great accommodation for family, we enjoyed the pool, a lot of space in appartment, good equipment. The location was near to see and it was wonderful to walk there evening. The stuff was really helpful - they managed for us cheap motorbikes and even take us for free to market when we needed.

We were there in July 2923. The ebb of the sea was big and it was not possible to swim in the sea during the day.

Very nice, large, quiet accommodation. If you want to rest and enjoy the beauty of Koh Samui this is the right place, far from tourist craziness. Super pool, very friendly owners

It is far away from everything, you need car, scooter or taxi to get to ‘lived area’ 😁 We could not swim in the sea, too low water for entire week

It was quiet and had a pool. Female owners/ family are very friendly and helpful.

Many things: - Wrong contact number in information book given in the villa, owner didn’t believe me when I told him. - AC wasn’t working so was moved to a different villa where AC also not working. AC guy came to fix it next day which was good. They also gave a fan. - Owners left the wrong key so we left the villa unlocked for the day because owner didn’t answer WhatsApp. - Rented a car from owners friends company and they did not give all information, big surprise when we went to pay at the end - Main owner was very aggressive and unprofessional at the end over payment because he didn’t understand what we were saying and refused to let us speak. Came to the villa screaming and shouting and tried to come inside.

We booked 3 chalets which was great for our family holiday. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They were very accomodating and even with the language barrier, greeted with smiles and happy to chat. The property is close to the beach, quiet and in a relaxed area, close to other excursions like waterfalls, snake farms, etc. We enjoyed some amazing experiences like horse riding on the beach and they gave their restaurant recommendations which we loved.

The bedding was uncomfortable and had stains on it from previous guests oil massages. The cleanliness wasn't as expected (example:A nest of bugs were in the room on the ceiling) We stayed for 8 days and the towels were never replaced or the bedding was never changed even though we asked. The hot water did not work in our chalet and the air-conditioning was not very effective. The furniture is sufficient- it is very basic and Some of the items were broken. (Example...rip in our couch and the coffee table in another chalet) There was no option to pay for our stay with a card, we had to pay cash. This could have been mentioned during the booking or upon check-in and obviously caused delay and a run around when we had to leave. For a 2 bedroom self-catering chalet, there should be cutlery and crockery for at least 4 people, however there were odd numbers of bowls and plates and very limited items that could be used to be self catering. Overall the accommodation was missing the finer touches that would be expected from a property with such high ratings.

peaceful place suitable for people who like solitude clean swimming pool

The owner of the resort cannot speak English because they speak French. The day we stayed (09.07.23-12.07.23), no wifi was used and the TV had no signal. The resort is located not far from the beach. But the beach is not suitable for swimming. The resort is very far from the city, it is necessary to rent a car or motorbike.

The serenity and quite away from the jungle town in Samui. The beach is 200 meters away just behind the property. The bungalow unit equipped with everything we need. Outside the property at the beach - Just a little reminder for those in Laem Sor beach to wear booties as the shore were full with broken glasses/bottles.

All good nothing to complain.

Staff .. should say a lovely couple.who run the place..nice friendly rooms were fine pool was really nice and clean ☺️
