Sunset Glow Hidden Meadow BBQ HotTub by Casa Oso

The peace and quiet of this place is wonderful. Sitting throughout the day outdoors was really restorative and the best that this house has to offer. The house is ample and the internal climate control is excellent. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable and very clean. The house has great bones, but it has s a long way to go.

One shower and one toilet were severely clogged and could not be used. The fridge top shelf froze foods, a lamp was not working, the washers had been shut and the moisture and mildew in there were pungent. Managers/owners offered to send someone to fix things every time, but after the first round we said "no more." It is absurd that we paid a premium price at a so called "glamour home" to then have to deal with repair personnel showing up day after day. Also, the so called ping pong "garage room" is completely uninsulated and therefore could not be used: it was absolutely broiling in there. (We did not use the grill or the hot tub). On an aesthetic note, the kitchen cabinets are peeling and the labels on the pantry are illegible. Pretty ugly, actually. There is a basic range of kitchen supplies, but it's a hodgepodge of "graduate student" mismatched quality items. Not exactly top of the line, but they work. Also, the beams on the outdoor terrace also need a good coat of paint, they look terrible. All in all, there was also miscommunication between whoever owns/manages and whoever cleans/maintains the place, a lot of confusion about x,y and z. The owner or corporation that manages it (it is unclear, despite it being presented here as a family owned home) clearly does not step there often, they seem to have no idea about the day to day state of the house.

Amazing location: very scenic and far from roads, super quiet and peaceful. Property: VERY clean, nice mattresses, squeaky clean, even grill rack had no char on it which is rare, fully equipped kitchen. Jacuzzi at night while watching stars was unforgettable. Host is super responsive to any needs.

Truly amazing property, all more than amenities, gorgeous 74 inch television, all appliances are new and I love that everything is very tasteful, ideal for beautiful photos

The view was great, close to oakhurst and also yosemite, hosts were really nice, the house was great!
