Peaceful cabin in a rural setting 2km from CBD

Every single thing, the cabin was perfect with every facility you could wish for, the bed, the fully equipped kitchen, the living area and bathroom. The aircon was excellent, 5 minutes top, and cabin toasty and warm. The garden, the walks were fantastic, a short walk to the river and an enjoyable walk along King George Avenue to town. A truly beautiful gift to stay. Our stay was for 12 days, thank you Chris and David - magic !!

Beautiful peaceful cabin on quiet property

Everything. Royal Oaks Cabin was just lovely, the trees surrounding it are just beautiful. If you like a peaceful place to stay this would be it. The walk to the river amongst the autumn trees was a highlight.

It would have been nice to have pot holders, face washers, and a dishcloth in the cupboard under the kitchen sink. I did find some cloths I used in a different cupboard. Just a little thing. If and when I stay here again, I’d just bring some. 😃

Our second visit to this tranquil cabin. Clean tidy and peaceful!

The location was excellent for my needs, quite central to the main street but still private and spacious.

I'm spoilt with my shower's water pressure at home.

The peaceful nature and surroundings. The comfortable bed. The available heating and cooling facilities. Private. Weather was perfect.

Personally the screen deck took a shine off sitting on it but appreciate its necessity during various times of the year.
