"The best stay in Weligama – I even extended my trip!"

What I loved the most was the peaceful atmosphere and the feeling of being surrounded by nature. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, the river, and the main street. The family is truly welcoming, the neighbors are lovely, and the amenities make the stay very comfortable. The mattresses are great, and you can even rent a bike to explore the area. Honestly, everything was perfect! I came because it was highly recommended, and I’ve decided to extend my stay — it’s honestly the best place I’ve stayed in Weligama (perfect AC, hire water and fast wifi).

All was perfect.

Avendra offers best service in this area, and in this price range. Comfortable apartment, located on the river. And in 10-15 min. walk from the beach and the main surf spot. The city center is close too. Very happy with my stay here, will come back.

The host was kind. She even provided us with detergent for laundry and local curd. The view near the lake is very calming. I was with my friends. Highly recommended for digital nomads. It is value for money (safe parking, laundry, fully equipped kitchen - microwave, fridge). In house washing machine and no extra charges. You can even take a bicycle from there!. One of the best stays!

Hmmm, nothing to complain about. The hot water and AC on one of the rooms of the double room villa need some service (both work; sometimes it is not HOT enough, or the AC takes a bit of time to get the temperature down). She said she is gonna do it soon.

Comfy space with room to spread out. Being a family of three, was nice having 2 bedrooms and separate living area. Access to washing machine was an added bonus.

It is a very clean, lovely, spacious place by the river, but also very close to beach and supermarket. I loved that the place had everything one needs - functional kitchen, plenty of various storage and a lot of lounging space inside and outside. I also greatly appreciated that the host was always available for any questions, requests. Great stay overall! Highly recommend!
