Villa Rafaela com piscina Albufeira

Great location and really nice villa! Went with mates for a holiday and met all expectations!

the exterior was amazing and the views at night were really beautiful. All the main attractions and activities were a close trip with UBER .

location was good, walking distance to the marina and short taxi ride to main resort, villa was clean and spacious with a lovely roof terrace

Not enough kitchen space, no spare cupboards for food, 4th bedroom, not really a bedroom, just a basement with a couple of beds and a canvas wardrobe, no windows or ventilation, 4th bathroom was the outside pool shower and toilet, so the property isn’t a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom property. Showers in the bathrooms could do with updating we only had an over the bath shower which we had to hold over ourselves as no where to hang it up to shower under and this only dripped out water. Pool tiles could do with a good clean as the grout was green and ended up staining swim clothes if you leant up against them. We had an issue were there was a leak on the ceiling in the basement bedroom, worked out it was from the air conditioning units as there was water dripping from them on the outside, after turning them off in the main living room it did stop the leaking, reported this but didn’t hear back until the day before we was checking out as they wanted to know what time we were leaving, luckily it was nothing too serious that we needed them for. All in all we had a good time and made the best of our time there but we wouldn’t return.

2 miles walk to centre of Albufera, managed this comfortably with a 5 year old and back so location is good, need a taxi to get to Aldi or Lidl for shopping, 9 euros each way, but good is lots cheaper than local mini mart. All contact with email was followed with a quick, helpful response, including transfers for 9 people.

Should be enough toilet rolls, dish washer tablets and washing up liquid to last vacation stay, and salt and pepper. Small things but helpful.
