Villa Destino - Seminyak Bali

Location was great. Easy walk to Pepito supermarket and lots of great restaurants & cafes close by. Only 15 minute walk to Potato Head & beach etc Villa is at the end of a very long alleyway though. Some taxis/bikes etc would not come down it which was hard whilst trying to stay on wifi & with the children in tow.

Villa is very run down. Nothing like the photos. Wifi cut out constantly, baths leaked, pool was absolutely filthy most of the time. (even after cleaning every 'second' day??) Children were reluctant to swim in it some days (which says a lot for a Bali holiday) Doors to bedrooms weren't airtight, so loads of Mosquitos everywhere (no nets over beds) Water pressure and hot water was non existent one day. Maintenance attended the villa 4 times in 48 hours due to all the problems. Host wouldn't really engage, just "will check, send maintenance" When pushed further about having no wifi or running water told us " he didn't have the authority to do anymore" and told us to contact Booking.com directly?? We definitely left something at the property. (told them exactly where it was left) but was told it was not found.
