Family Home

We loved this home. We travelled with another couple so booked both bed rooms for 2 days . The home is spacious and comfortable in a relaxed setting with a lovely pool within a minutes walk to the beach. We were there in the Off Peak season so not many restaurants open however we were able to get the things we needed. The restaurant opposite although closed made us dinner and delivered it to the house one night .Suresh and his wife organised our delicious breakfast made at the home. We visited the restaurant at halcyon resort on the beach for morning coffee and a dinner . Small local store around the corner, Shops , pharmacy within a 10 min walk or quick tuk tuk ride.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this villa. Suresh and his wife were fantastic hosts and made sure that the pool was kept clean and that we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast that we cooked for us. We spent most of our time in the beautiful garden and pool and thought that the villa was incredible value for money.

This place is amazing! And especially the manager made this stay special. He will help you with every single thing. We loved to have our very 'own' property for a few days with a kitchen and pool. The restaurant next door served us some food because we had a baby sleeping. Loved the location and local foodplace on the beach.

Communication via booking was not so good; i think thats with the owner; he sounds a bit rough and not so nice. ( it might be the translation app or so) but when you contact the manager he will make up for it.

Super friendly housekeeper pair, who made us delicious breakfast and dinner on demand and arranged transfers and purchases of our needs. Peaceful location. Nice and clean pool to dip in after hot day. Lovely house cat.

Location is good, although the beach (just 2-3 min walking distance) is not really enjoyable for swimming. We went by car to other beaches nearby. Pool is OK. We used it only once since it had been raining cats and dogs. Host is a pleasant guy.

No drug stores nearby (there is a need for a tuk-tuk or a car). There are several cafes in the ear, but they mainly target tourists (higher prices / smaller portions). The place itself needs some maintenance (door handles, some lights and etc.). We stayed only two nights on the way to Galle, so, no regrets. But, I'd have chosen a different place if you need more comfort.
