Ruby Romance Oceanside Villas

Great villa for couples. We will be back for sure next summer.

Place is great but need to rent transportation to fully enjoy traveling around. For people who like to stay inside the villa and eat around very fine option in a local Balinese area. Villa is with very nice garden and big swimming pool, very close to the ocean. Few food options available nearby and a diving cite. The owner can organize activities and help with shopping. For people who likes to stay away from crowds.

Stayed at the villa for the second time while heading to Amed. Still love it—peaceful vibe, gorgeous garden, and a big private pool. It’s clean, well looked after, and keeps its original charm. Perfect base for anyone wanting to explore North Bali.

Design, privacy, and being in the village easy to walk to 3 warungs and one bar/restraurant. Dive shop 5 min walk. Very few tourists. Lovely chilled location and people.

The owner appears to have deliberately stopped maintaining almost everything. (Not an exaggeration). Green pool never serviced and leaking, almost all external lights not working, long grass inside villa walks, and weeds at front entry everywhere; poor and unloved gardens (to achieve an awful garden in Bali takes real effort!). Decking boards loose with rusted screws sticking out. Exposed electric cables on lawn. Pond in lounge area was an eyesore and not working. Had to ask for everything ( except towels) as things ran out despite maid every second day. Massive palm fronds crashing down not removed. No shade as no working umbrellas, and they refused to replace. Power went out on the villa as did the water (Villa only not the village). Many other things in disrepair. Zero directory for local shops, warung, activities and even where to get your laundry done. Owner didn't suggest a place when messaged. Btw....Don't ask for a flicking light to be replaced as all they do is cut the light cord off ( not making this up). Sad, as it could have easily been 'superb' with a bit of effort and keeping things maintained :( We stayed 12 days - two couples. Wouldn't stay longer than two days unless the owner puts in the effort and can prove it. Be warned as it's degrading fast.....

Es war alles da, was man braucht und es war sauber. Der Pool war auch toll. Da wir beide Bungalows hatten, waren wir ganz allein.

Klid, malá vesnička, na pláž kousek, oblázková pláž, černý písek.
