"An awful stay, misleading photos, construction works without pre warning and no communication from owners"

The house has space, the swimming pool area is nice and the location to Plaka is good - as we had chosen.

2 things drive us to give a very bad rating, that we believe after discussing between is very deserved: 1. the villa is called “the view”, but in fact the view is that of electric cables, that are very very very visible unfortunately ; also please note that the photos have been digitally modified so that the cables do not appear on them, while it is physically not possible to take the same pictures. 2. Heavy construction work with deafening noise totally bothered our stay every day from 9am to 3 pm including on the Saturday. My wife who had to work could not despite earplugs ; and I had to leave the house everyday at 9 with the kids, which is crazy when you think of the fact we rented the house. Further, at no time prior to our arrival did the owners write to us to tell us about the situation and propose an amendment or a cancellation of the rental. the local staff was very nice and apologetic about the situation, but unfortunately it was far too late for us to change plans Even at that moment, during the five days we stayed the owners did not contact us.

A superb villa in an outstanding location with incredible views. Well appointed throughout and spotlessly clean.

The steps to the property need to be described clearly in the villa profile. We travelled with my elderly parents and found the steps to be a struggle for them every day. Towards the top of the steps there is no handrail and this was quite dangerous.
