The location was excellent. Very quiet. The host was friendly and most helpful. Pool and garden are lovely.

Towels were old. Lack of cleaning products. Limited TV channels available.

This villa is beautiful from the traditional inside to the stunning exterior and pool. It was clean and well maintained and we spent a very relaxing 2 weeks here. There is plenty of shade and the pool is perfect for cooling off in. The extra shower area by the bbq area was useful with two teenagers, as was the shower by the pool. The location is great for the beautiful Cala Mondrago beach, there were parasols available to take here, or the restaurants in nearby Portopetro, where there is a Spar for essentials. There is a larger Lidl supermarket in Santanyi about 15 minutes drive. The local market at Santanyi was lovely too for beach ware and tapas restaurants.

We visited during a heatwave in July and the nights were very warm. Fans were kindly provided but the bedrooms would benefit air conditioning in the hotter months. As expected for this time of year the mosquitoes are quite hungry so advise spray.

Pool was quite nice, although pictures made it look bigger. outside eating area was quite nice. Gardens were nice and the finca is attractive from the outside. owner very polite and came quickly when reported toilet was blocked, and she left us local cake on arrival. kitchen well equipped and clean.

When we walked in, there was an unpleasant intense musty smell that somewhat cleared in 48 hours after we went out and bought plugin air fresher's and removed mosquito plugs, first 2 days very unpleasant, next 5 not as bad. didnt even go in double room because of smell. double bed also small. Bathroom was damp, dingy and shower was dirty and had mould in, also had a cracked tray and badly fitting doors, needs modernisation, shower leaked so floor permanently wet. interior furnishings were somewhat worn, photos were very generous. very hot at night despite small desktop fans (no ac as expected per description, nor larger ceiling fans) and windows very small so not much airflow at night. note daytime temp mid 30s. beds very firm. the horrible smell and heat at night negatively impacted our stay.

The location , easy to walk to restaurants and a mini market close by. Lovely character property and lovely pool.

No air conditioning which in a very hot week meant a lack of sleep. Also uncomfortable bed in double room.
