Villa Echedra

Maria and her family are definitely the best hosts I have ever experienced in my years of traveling. In addition to having a beautiful villa house, with pool, bicycles, and all other amenities, the hosts arranged for us the airport transportation and the rent-a-car at very affordable prices and timing. Each morning they would delivered a breakfast for us, whatever we wished for, and treated us with home made specialties including cheese, yogurt and wine. The house is extermly clean, and in the middle of our stay the changed our towels and sheets. Location is perfect, peaceful surrounding very close to the beach. If we were to go back to Santorini we would choose them again, and definitely will recommend to all our friends.

The owners of the villa are amazing, very friendly, helpful and always available if you need something or want to organise trips and activities. They also have a restaurant in a nearby village that is definitely worth visiting, we ate there twice. The villa itself is perfect. It has a small kitchen area, 2 large double bedrooms with ensuite, parking and obviously the swimming pool. It is located in a great position on the island. 2 minute walk to the beach, 10min drive to pretty much everywhere else. Overall we absolutely loved our time here. We can highly recommend this villa and it's owners.

Nothing, honestly everything was great!

The hosts were unbelievably helpful and kind. They set anything and everything up for us as well as brought us fresh pastries and bread for breakfast every morning. If we wanted to do any activity, they set it up for us. They made sure we were happy and comfortable the whole time. If we needed a restaurant recommendation, they told us where to go. I can't speak highly enough about these people. They kept the fridge stocked with everything you would need while you were there. It was also a short walk to the beach and several great restaurants and at least one really goodlittle coffee shop.

The only very small negative would be that it is a bit of a ride away from the bigger town centers. The hosts made this easy as well by setting up rides for us whenever we wanted. All of the drivers we rode with were also extremely friendly and helpful with great recommendations for things to do and see so it turned into a huge plus. Definitely not so far away as to stop you from staying here. We loved it. It made for more peaceful and quiet nights.

2 beds and 2 bathrooms. Very clean. Delicious breakfast. Lots of foods in the refrigerator. Quiet location. Easy to book a car.

Car costs were higher than our expectation.

Villa Echedra – Great accommodation, We had the pleasure to stay at Villa Echedra for a week and it was just great. The Villa is in a quiet spot at the southern part of Santorini, and it was easily found by car coming from the airport. The accommodation with the two spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and the kitchen/living area was perfect for our little family trip. The outdoor area with the pool and the patio was simply super cozy especially during the evenings in the light from the full moon. The host family is the most kind and friendly people, who provided fresh local breads for breakfast each morning and had even filled up the fridge upon arrival. We also highly recommend visiting the host family’s restaurant, Geromanolis. The food is amazing, and the service is great, and the atmosphere is so cozy and enjoyable. We don't have any bad things to say, but we would have loved to have heard about the "secret path" to the beach at arrival, then we would have enjoyed it some more.

Absolutely everything! It was perfect!! The hosts were wonderful and it was idyllic. Having the bikes was fun too. The house and all the facilities and food provided were exceptional.

The location of the Villa Echedra to a virtually private beach just through the field was ideal. The fridge was generously stocked. The apartment was clean and modern and quite comfortable.

A small thing would that I would recommend a shade umbrella next to the sedans by the pool.
