The place was phenomenal, we liked it a lot. The house is old, but beautifuly renovated, clean and modern inside. The host is very nice and helpful (he prepared gifts and touristical guides for us :). The village is also nice and quiet. Unfortunnately we did not have a chance to walk around, because of the high temperatures. The house is in good location, in 30 minutes you can get to the coast, or travel to Croatia or Italy. We spent a very special time in Seki Sest :)

If you go in summer, it may be hard to spend time in the garden - because of the mosquitos and wasps :/

Well equipped house, great host. Very calm an nice area. We enjoyed our time there a lot.

You really need a car to get around. If i really need to give somethig that could be better garden and house surroundings could be a bit more tidy, but it was not that important.

This is a very nice property, located a walking distance from the Croatian border. The countryside and nearby forests is perfect for walking. Additionally, it is conveniently located if you want to reach Piran/Triest or the Croatian seaside - it usually takes up to 45 minutes by car the reach those places. Nearest bigger shop is in Croatia in Buzet. The house itself is really nicely renovated. Kitchen is fully equipped. AC in every room, which is very handy ;) The owners are friendly and speak very good English.

Scorpions, but apparently they are not harmful ;) They are typical for this region.

The owners are very nice people, they met us to give us the house keys and showed us around. The historical value of the house was a very nice touch, the family really renovated this place with taste. The whole house was very clean and we liked the large living room as well as a well equipped kitchen.

The only downside was the dogs barking on the street at night, but this is due to neighbours not training them well (as it is usual for village dogs that run aroung the neighbourhood), so this woke us up several times at night. However, it does not have anything to do with the owners and Šeki Šest was a recommended place to stay, so we give it 10/10.
