VILLAPARADISO Beach front Villa Makris Gialos

Position on top of a cliff, looking out over the grass and pool to the sea, and the steps down to a little beach. The house is spacious and comfortable, made for indoor/outdoor living, and the host is very friendly and attentive. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. We liked that it was very comfortable but not luxurious.

One bedroom lets in a lot of light and gets very warm.

I liked how is was secluded, quiet area but also close to town and to the airport. The host was very responsive, gave so many recommendations of places to go and restaurants to eat at. Would recommend to anyone wanting to go to kefalonia to come and stay here!!

It is a little difficult to locate as it doesn’t have an exact location on google maps but the host was able to give very clear and good instructions on how to reach the accomodation

From the moment we booked until we left the owner and villa were amazing. Nothing was too much to ask, the villa was breathtaking. Location was amazing. We will certainly be returning.

The location was truly amazing the pool looked over the sea amazing, the family who surrounds the villa was friendly and made you feel safe so awesome will defo go again

We had elderly parents who couldn't walk far so from the villa to the shops and restaurants was a bit of a struggle but we managed on a few nights out

The structure of the house with fantastic view! The pool was also fit to our expectation! Pakos was so friendly and he reacted very fast to our any questions! The special sweet, kantaifi, what we get as surprise was a "cream on top" :) The beach is realy at the end of the property but hided and not crowded at all, even this is one of the best beach in Kefalonia.

Beautiful location and lovely host. Lovely view and just next to a beach. It’s near enough to shops, restaurants and buses/taxi not to need a car if you don’t want one.

So much space. Very clean. Great to have access to kayak, paddle board and lilos. Private pool is very well looked after and sunbeds with umbrellas were great. All facilities were in good condition and functioned. Pakos our host was so helpful and kind, making great recommendations and was flexible and was easily contactable. Would love to come and stay again!

Very comfortable spacious house with a gorgeous view, warm pool right next to a glorious beach. What more could you want. Pakos was a very attentive and generous host and looked after us very well.

Pakos met us in the carpark of the local hotel as you wouldn't find this place without help. It is delightfully located in a very secluded area at the far end of a beautiful, sandy public beach. It is part of a complex apartments behind a gated drive and has private access to the beach of about 50 steps. The other end of the beach is busy during the day but the end the apartment is on is relatively quite and completely deserted early morning and in the evening for swimming/ fishing (unsuccessfully). Pakos, the owner, was very helpful at all times. 4 good sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite) Incredible view. Great private pool. Easy walk to multiple, good quality restaurants and bars (about 10-15 mins). The airport is only about 7km away and there is some plane noise but don't be put off as it is not intrusive at all and starts late and finishes early. All in all this was a great place to stay.

As it is part of a complex the neighbours are quite close and visible but consider this as a big aparthotel. I still find not putting toilet roll in the toilet difficult but this is pretty common on Kefalonia.

some of the facilities needed some attention, the ice machine on the fridge and the flush on the toilet in one of the en suites. With a little bit of money and time the villa could be beautiful. The description doesn’t provide details that it’s attached to other parts of a building and whilst no-one else was there whilst we stayed, it wouldn’t be very private if they were occupied.
