"A stunning villa in Hikkaduwa!"

The villa is absolutely stunning and it was so nice to feel some home comforts whilst travelling. The pool, gardens and interior are fabulous. Inside is clean, comfortable and perfect for a short or prolonged stay in the area. Bedrooms are good sizes and it has AC! The bathrooms are stunning and clean!! The set up is seamless. The family owned villa is supported by Mahinda and Dinesh, who are literally on hand for anything you need. They are not working for you but they honestly act like they do- anything you need they are there to help! Mahinda checked us in and is easy contactable by WhatsApp (I recommend getting a local sim at the airport which is super cheap!) for ease. Dinesh was incredible! He took us around Hikkaduwa in his Tuk Tuk and offered lifts back and forth from the center whenever we needed. Just be mindful he doesn’t work late- but that’s not an issue at all! He brought fresh supplies and answers quickly if you need anything. Although we didn’t indulge in him cooking for us, I would say it would be well worth it!

Nothing really, my only comment would be that it’s about 4km from the center so not overly walkable. But honestly don’t let that put you off, Dinesh is happy to drive you in and it’s a lovely place to stay.
