Sea Shell Villa Hikkaduwa 2 Separate Cabanas Ocean Front Villa

Location a little out of town ,but tuk tuks passing all the time (cost 400 rupees.Nice and peaceful with good amenities.

It’s lovely to be right by the beach and sleep to the sound of the waves The outdoor dining space was nice It is far from Hikkaduwa busy area but us a small shop and restaurant across the road (beach is empty)

The property is advertised as a villa, but this is misleading. It consists of three separate buildings, each with their own key: one for the kitchen (small, not air conditioned) and two more for each bedroom + bathroom. You have to go outside (rain / sand…) to move from room to room. This might be OK for some, but in our case, a family with two small children, we specifically wanted to finish our holiday in a VILLA - with a common indoor space to spend time in, cook, play, etc. and where the children could sleep together in their own room. This property’s configuration meant each adult had to sleep with one child. Also, there is a big fence separating the property from the beach, with has been cleverly disguised in the images.

Great beach location with garden giving pleasant shadow. Villa has everything you need. Great view and empty beach. Host is very nice and helpful person.

This villa is a real gem. You can easily spend the whole vacation there. The property looks like heaven, trees give some shadow and privacy. You have access to a beach, where you can swim even if waves are big at other beaches. There is a small kitchen with everything you need to make a quick meal. In front of the villa there are 2 small shops where you can buy some groceries.

Ant colonies live in the houses.

Beautiful Villa and location right on the beach. We had it all to ourselves as well.

Our family booked both villas...each with a double bed (queen). Eash villa is adequate for 2pax. Easy communication with the host via booking chat. Location is right on the beach and its walking distance to Seenigama Devalaya and not far from the tsunami Buddha statue. The area is on the quiet side of hikkaduwa and you would need transport to get to the main area especially for meals

Wifi

It is located on beach front. Easily accessible from main highway. The design of the cottages is good. Well stocked kitchenette.

Too much road noise due to highway. A bit too far from main town.
