Bajo la Cruz del Sur - Conguillio

ALLES. Eine so perfekte Unterkunft gibt es nur einmal. Man merkt an allen Details, dass das Haus ursprünglich nicht zur Vermietung gedacht war, sondern zur Eigennutzung. Es war wie zuhause. Ausreichend Platz, reichlich Ausstattung, super sauber. Hier kann man lange bleiben, deshalb haben wir spontan verlängert.

Cabaña amplia, limpia y cómoda, equipada con todo lo necesario para una buena estadía. la dueña fue muy atenta y amable.

Toda la casa es exquisita, con todas las comodidades que podría tener tu propia casa: cama cómoda, tv con streaming, cerca de muchos geositios de Melipeuco y la anfitriona es excelente, te avisa de todo y da muchos datos.

We have stayed at Bajo la Cruz del Sur and for us this place was all about the excellent and dedicated host, Ximena. The accommodations have been already reviewed few times and we leave that part to the other travellers. The local knowledge and the excellent recommendations by Ximena about the places to visit while staying in the area made a unique experience during what is our fourth trip to Patagonia. While the most famous hike in the area is sendero Sierra Nevada, we also suggest you not to miss the recommended short hike La Garganta del brujo. It is a short hike in a beautiful, unique setting and you really feel you are in a remote corner of Chile.

The cabin is very well equipped and perfectly working. Beds are comfortable and it has 2 complete toilets.

The entrance to the cabin is through the terrace. At least at the moment.

Cabin contained everything we needed to self cater. Location was beautiful next to the river and only 8 minutes drive to town. Ximina our host was extremely helpful providing advice on activities to do and shared her knowledge of the area. She was very welcoming and also spoke English which was great as my Spanish is very poor.

Cozy cabin vibes with nice art. Very clean. Easy walk to waterfall and close to national park and artisan beer, pizza and ice cream. Very nice hostess who also speaks English.

Due to heat wave the first day, cabin was very hot to be inside. Had two fans but not enough for comfort until sun set.

This place is truly remarkable. The views around are stunning, the property is beautiful with access to the river, and a perfect location to town and Conguillo National Park. Our check-in was easy and seemless, she accepted credit card. The cottage itself is beautiful, it's even nicer in person than in the photos. The kitchen is fully stocked and functional, it's extremely spacious and in 3 weeks, so far, travelling in Chile these were by far the most comfortable beds and pillows! The host is very sweet and kind. She welcomed us, gave us a tour of the place and offered us helpful advice of things to see in the area. We loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat!
