Villa Maestral

Uiterst vriendelijke persoonlijke ontvangst door Miho, die de tijd nam om ons wegwijs te maken en een welkomstdrankje met ons te delen. Heerlijk huis met een fijn buitenverblijf, zowel in de zon als in de schaduw. Het bijkeukentje bij het zwembad en de BBQ was erg handig en aangenaam voor de avonden waarop het te fris was om buiten te zitten.

Eigenlijk was alles goed.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Das Haus hat viel Charme und bietet genug Möglichkeiten, sich auch mal individuell zurückzuziehen. Besonders schön war der Poolbereich – alles super überdacht und ideal zum Entspannen. Der Meerblick war einfach traumhaft.

Die Matratzen waren uns leider zu weich – wirklich erholsam geschlafen hat bei uns niemand. Für uns ein Problem, das wir ansprechen möchten. Außerdem sollte man sich unbedingt auf die vielen Wespen und Tigermücken vorbereiten. Unser Tipp: Gelsenfallen oder guten Insektenschutz einpacken! Das Gelsenproblem war leider omnipräsent (teilweise 15 Stiche pro Kinderbein). Die sind vor allem unter dem Sonnendach. Dafür können natürlich die Besitzer nichts.

We had a lovely holiday. The house was in a nice quiet location with a beautiful view. And the pool and the sun all day long. Exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed the barbecue that was available for us. The pool was great and huge thanks to the owner Micho for everything and for taking care of the pool for us. Very nice beach nearby Velki Zal. Not crowded with bar and carpark. You can rent parasol and sunbed. Obviously car is needed. We wished to stay longer.

We liked everything but if we can suggest something to the owner is maybe to provide a few more hangers in the wardrobe. And to install fan above the table in pool/sitting area outside. It would be helpful to use it on hot days without wind. It's just a small detail to consider

Very friendly and helpful owner, always available for questions and help. Amazing sea view, very chilled out and relaxed location. Nice pool, house and amenities very clean and new!

House very clean, peace and quiet around. Very good location close to Dubrovnik, Bosnia Herzegovina and Montenegro if someone wants to visit. Parking space even for two cars, well-kept swimming pool, cleaned twice a week, beach 15 minutes from the house, quiet and peaceful was not crowded even in high season, however it's quite steep uphill back, but you can also get there by car. Great contact with the owner Anna, who is very nice person and helpful. A boat trip with Anna's father, it's something amazing I recommend it to everyone 100% satisfaction

The location was very quiet and peaceful. The view was beautiful. The villa is very spacious and comfortable. The hosts were great at responding to any queries and questions for information.

Only a minor thing - as it was very hot when we were there it would have been useful to have a fan in the living space upstairs although all the bedrooms had fantastic air con.

Overall a very enjoyable stay in a rural setting. A nice day living kitchen area / room by the pool. Main house 20 metres behind and generally good.

The bed in the master bedroom is far too soft and we ended up in a bowl in the middle and our combined weight is only 125kg ! Internet is really bad down by the pool / outdoor dining area.
