Beautiful garden filled with bonsai trees next to the rice fields. Quiet with a lovely pool and great company. The owner welcomed me like family. I’m really grateful for my stay here and would happily come back again.

I arrived really late and the host waited for me and helped with everything. I really appreciate the hospitality. This place is very quiet and peaceful.

Wonderful and very idyllic place. Absolutely peaceful and quiet, no noise, just nature and the wind. The owner is such a nice man and will be seeing to all your needs. The Villa was clean, spacious and with very well working AC. The pool is beautiful as well as the garden. From the pool and especially from the rooftop terrace, there's a spectacular view across the terraced rice fields and if you know where to look you can also spot the sea and Nusa Penida from here. The rooftop terrace also has stunning views of Mount Agung when it is clear. There's a rice field track starting right behind the property that goes all the way through the rice fields and the forest up to a traditional Balinese village. Be aware that this location is very secluded. There are two ATM in the village up the road, but when I was there both were not working. There's no restaurants or shops anywhere near and Grab doesn't work either, there are no drivers around. You can order food on Grab but it is quite expensive and there's only two or three restaurants that will deliver here and that usually also takes up to two hours. If it rains your food will arrive wet 😅 If you're not just looking for a few days of pure relaxation, you'll either need a personal driver or a scooter to get anywhere. Romy will also prepare some simple food for you or order something in for you. No fridge in the room, but there's a fridge with water and beer in the common area and also a water dispenser to fill up. I believe only one of the villas has AC, as far as I saw. Driving time to the airport in Kuta is close to 3 hours and will cost you around 600k IDR with a private driver.

Romy ist der beste Gastgeber, den man sich wünschen kann! Er führt seine kleine Villenanlage wie ein privates Zusammenkommen von Freunden, dabei fühlt man sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und wie zuhause. Die Anlage liegt wunderschön in den Reisfeldern gelegen. Direkt hinter den Villen geht ein kleiner Treckingweg los, der einen in eine Traumwelt von Reisterrassen und Palmenwälder führt. Für uns war das der schönste Moment unserer Balireise, sogar unsere Wandermuffel-Kinder waren davon begeistert. Die vier Tage bei Romy waren ein besonderes Erlebnis und wir würden das nächste Mal auf alle Fälle wieder zu ihm kommen.
