Old, rundown, only thing that made it historical was the age of the house. Room wasn’t even the house, small building out back. Did not even stay it was such a dump and falsely advertised

"Misleading"

My brother picked us up from the cruise ship and delivered us to the property. We were allowed to check in 2 hours early and There was ample room for us to visit for the day, which was nice as I hadn’t seen my brother in a few years. There was plenty of hot water in the shower after letting it run for a bit. The bed was comfy. It was quiet

The picture in the advertisement was nothing like what the actual property looked like. Although adequate, it looked like someone took a backyard storage building and converted it into a small apartment. I arranged transportation to the airport a couple months in advance and was told that he couldn’t do it. Had to arrange an Uber, which was done easily enough. It was adequate but not worth the money I paid.

"Nasty apartment, would NOT recommend"

Nothing

You see the beautiful historic house, this is NOT where the studio is. The studio is in the back of the house in a make shift shed, very poorly renovated. The host opened the door of what is called the apartment only to be engulfed by a stench of cigarettes, garbage and mildew.

"Easy location for the cruise port"

The service of the host was very good!

The sauna is separated from the bathroom by a thin wall with a door with a lock that could be opened from the sauna side. There is no access from the apartment itself. This sauna was used by many people on a rainy day. The voices and conversations were completely audible in the bathroom.

"It was a nice stay in the historical district for our weekend visit to Galveston ."

The location worked great for us. We were able to walk to breakfast and walk to the festival.

Water temperature in shower and sinks could bed warmer. There were a couple of places where we stubbed our toes and nearly tripped because of different elevation between the floor and the kitchen facilities.
